The city guides collect local venues, stages and practical advice. Use them to understand the market and prepare your profile for relevant bookers.

Before you apply

Five things the booker needs to assess

An application works best when the answers are already in your profile. Make these five details concrete before you send it.

Choose a recording that sounds like the act the booker will actually get on stage.

  2. A concise introduction

Describe genre, format and audience without burying the essentials in a long biography.

  3. Available dates and geography

Show when you can play and how far you are willing to travel.

  4. A realistic fee

Set a level that accounts for lineup, playing time, travel and preparation.

  5. Lineup and production

State how many people are coming and what the organizer needs to provide.
